agreed they wanted to make a retro style holiday record with all the familiar
sounds that they enjoyed as children growing up with groups such as
The Carpenters, Andy Williams, and even The Partridge Family. The holiday
record features rich vocal harmonies, classical guitar and beautiful orchestral
arrangements of Christmas favorites including Winter Wonderland, O Holy Night,
a reverent rendition of Silent Night and a stunning four part a cappella version of
Auld Lang Syne to end the ten song collection.

In early 2009 Genie was contacted by Sister Margaret Slowick who is a relative
of the family and a nun for the Sisters of Saint Francis. Sister Margaret told of her
Mission she founded in Cuernavaca, Mexico for the under privileged children in
the area. Genie and her family were so touched by the work of Sister Margaret that
they have decided to donate a portion of all record sales to the Children's Mission
in Cuernavaca.
